Neat packaging with clear ingredient, nutrition level listed and a photo illustration.

This food mix has a decent nutrition level balance and in fact is uncommonly high in fibre. (Recommended at most 15%) Dehydrated Coconut, Dried Apple and Hibiscus are unique ingredients for food mix and definitely offered a greater variety of grains to your hamsters' diet. Pellets, hay and bran make up most of the packet while hibiscus and coconut pieces are scarce but in considerable size which can be tore to smaller size and offered variously. Personally, I will use it with another food mix to balance out on the high fibre and with pellets as the main component, it would not entice a picky eater but the unique ingredients will sure be a huge bonus. (Note: When changing a different food mix, be sure to substitute with the current one gradually to avoid an upset of your hamster's diet.)

Over the change period, the responses are well and they enjoyed it. See how they all pick out the unique ingredients and guzzle away gleefully. However, just as expected, the pellets and hay were hardly touched and they paced around their bowls waiting for more food.

Berries Nibblots - VetIQ

This treat is manufactured by VetIQ, cracker-like and berry filling in the centre. It stated to be rich with Omega-3, Vitamin E, Vitamin A and Vitamin D3. Main ingredients are Wheat Flour, Vegetable Oil, Corn Starch, Salt, Apple & Cranberry Powder and Blueberry Powder.

My first impression, the packaging definitely looks attractive and healthy. It seems to be the type hamsters like especially with the berry filling inside. However, this treat has high fat content with crude fats min. 22.7%, suitable as a weekly treat. Upon opening, it has heavenly tingle sour berry smell. True to the picture, it is look like cracker and when break into half, the fillings are there. The crackers are not as crispy as expected, in fact, it required some effort to break them but the filling sure are plentiful. (My hand was a little greasy after handling)

Well the pictures said it all! Autumn is so focus on munching on the treat that she has no objection that I took her photo while both guys got a little irritated when I stuffed the camera in-front of their face but still continue holding on the treat. The berry filling sure is enticing! They gobble up the cracker and managed to finish their usual meal; half a piece is just right.

It has a very simple package that basically showed red bean on it. Although it might just be a red bean treat, a nutrition fact table should be presented on it as not everyone are aware of the benefit it brings about. In general, red bean is found to be rich in protein, iron, fiber and antioxidant. So, if you are looking for an alternative protein food source for your picky hamster, try red bean.
Inside the package, you can find little pieces of dried red bean and natural sweet smell similar to red bean paste in our dessert. Do expect powder particles to be dispersed when pouring the treat out.

Unfortunately no decent pictures is available to share. The treats is far too small to see them eating in action. However, they did not show much enthusiasm to it too... They are picky to the point that they nibbled on the "flesh" only and left the skin behind.
