Today is the one month death anniversary of my beloved hamster, Dawn. Busyness had given me the excuse to bottle up the feelings, delaying the death message till today..... and had the courage to face it.
On the 16 July 2015, the first amiss that I noticed was Dawn did not come forth and greet me as usual when I return home. I spotted her at her favourite corner and did a "finger walk" but she did not responds to my presence. At that point, I started to panic as she was close to 2.5 years old senior hamster and the past few days she seems to lost her spark. The reality finally hit me that Dawn had really left me.
She passed on
peacefully in her sleep. Though Dawn had left but will always be
remember and is a little thief that stolen my heart since the first day
we meet. May she find eternal happiness and be a free-spirit through the
passing.
